Card, valentine card

Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising an undersheet of white lace paper with an embossed floral border design surrounding a panel of cream satin embroidered with a panel of purple flowers and green leaves and a ribbon embroidered 'dearest I love but thee'. This embroidery is surrounded by a wreath of silver and white embossed paper leaves and an outer 'scrap' wreath of embossed paper flowers. Above the cream lace paper outer border is attached, by paper springs, a top border of silver and white lace paper with a ruched cotton trim and a wreath of cotton net and embossed white paper leaves.
