Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card with an underlayer comprising a panel of cream satin framed by a white lace paper border. Attached above, by paper springs, is a silver and white lace paper sheet embossed to represent an underwater scene with foliage, shells and seaweed. This sheet has three open areas through which can be seen the satin below. Decoration applied to the card includes embossed, coloured paper cupid figures, balletic angels and a garland of coloured paper leaves and flowers, feathers and beads.
