Card, valentine card

Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card with an underlayer comprising a cream satin panel surrounded by a white lace paper border. Applied above, by means of paper springs is a silver and white lace paper border decorated with a flower design. Applied to the satin panel is a sepia coloured photographic print of a wedding ceremony framed by a wreath of silver and white embossed paper leaves. This is, in turn, surounded by an applied wreath of white fabric flowers, leather buds and embossed silver paper leaves. One of a collection of cards stuck within a scrapbook by Jonathan King numbered Volume 37. This card is attached to page 48.
