Card, valentine card
Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising two cream lace paper sheets formed from a single sheet of folded paper. The sheets have an identical border design but varying decoration. The undersheet is complete with an integral central oval panel, decorated with a centrally applied embossed silver paper cherub firing an arrow. The central area of the top sheet is filled with a cotton net panel decorated with an applied wreath of pink fabric flowers and green paper leaves. Below is applied a hand coloured motif of two cherubs holding a heart marked 'Thou art the victor Love'.
