Card, valentine card
Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising a cream lace paper underborder surrounding a panel of cream satin decorated with a top layer of silver and white lace paper attached by paper springs. Applied to the centre of the card is a cameo embossed image of classical female and cupid figures riding in a conch shaped boat. The card is also decorated with green plush covered wire shaped and arranged to represent foliage and applied to the top and bottom of the card. The card includes Windsor's design registration mark for the year 1855.
