Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a white lace paper border embossed with a tree, foliage and flower design surrounding a central panel of cream satin. The panel is decorated with an arrangement of glass jewels, a rice paper butterfly, a gilded paper 'Love' and two white cotton flowers tied with a cream satin ribbon and silver paper bow. This decoration is surrounded by a wreath of embossed silver paper leaves and white leather buds or seeds.
