Card, valentine card
Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising an under sheet of white lace paper perforated and embossed for form two side archways with scalloped top drapes flanking a central oval shaped open panel filled with cotton gauze. Attached above this sheet by means of paper springs/hinges is a silver and white lace sheet perforated and embossed to form a central open pillared archway and two side open areas framing images of ballet dancing angels. Applied to the central cotton net are two handcoloured embossed paper cupid figures. In the centre of the inner sheet is applied a handcoloured cut out paper figure of an angel seated with cupid on her lap.
