Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a sheet of white lace paper by Windsor embossed with a floral border design surrounding a central area filled with an panel of cream satin. Applied to the top area of the panel is a hand coloured, cut out paper image of a flying angel on a rice paper cloud. The lower part of the panel is decorated with embossed handcoloured cut out figures of cupid and a woman. This area is framed by a lace paper archway attached to the sheet by paper springs and a garland of embossed coloured paper leaves and flowers. A paper cartouche is printed with the motto 'Friendship's Offering'.
