Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a sheet of silver and white lace paper heavily embossed with a design incorporating two large figures of a male and female reclining in a rural, garden setting. Above the figures, in an open central area, is applied a sheet of white rice paper painted to resemble water and decorated with two applied white swans and a garland of embossed coloured flowers and leaves. Inserted beneath the lace paper sheet is a blue sheet intended to enhance the lace paper design above.
