Card, valentine card
Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising two identical sheets of lace paper attached one above the other by paper springs or hinges. The undersheet is white, the top sheet is silver and white. Both sheets are identically heavily embossed with a design incorporating foliage, trees, figures of cupid, a female and a classical garden setting with gazebos. In the centre is applied an oval panel of cream satin decorated with a bouquet of applied embossed coloured paper flowers.
