Card, valentine card

Handfinished valentine's card comprising a sheet of white lace paper embossed with a border design incorporating a lake scene with steps & a boat containing cupid & other figures. This border design frames a centrally applied semi-circular cream satin panel. Applied to the panel is a gilded paper figure of cupid flying above an applied garland of embossed coloured paper flowers and leaves. One of a collection of cards stuck within a scrapbook compiled by J.King numbered '37'. This card is applied to 'page 9' of the scrapbook headed '6d Queens No 11'.
