The Elevation of Buckingham House in St James's Park - from Vitruvius Britannicus. The house was erected in 1709-1711, largely at the instigation of Sarah, Duches of Marlborough. From the dedication to the Duke (1650-1722) the engraving dates from his lifetime. Cf. 80.501/964, 965.
