Selsdon House, Surrey.
Selsdon House, Croydon, Surrey. "Selsdon Park was built in 1809 on the site of the 15th century farmhouse by William Coles. It was purchased soon after by George Smith a banker and director of the East India Company who altered and enlarged it." - http://www.london-footprints.co.uk/wkselsdonroute.htm. It was later the property of Bishop Thorold of Rochester and was converted to a hotel in 1925 with huge enlargements. Cf. 80.501/842 for another - very different - view.
