The tomb of Alexander Noell, Deacon of St Paul's, in the chapel of the Virgin Mary in Old St Pauls - Ex aquilinali latere Ecclesiae ab Orientali parte Chori - Alexandri Noelli Ecclesiae Paulius Decni, Monumentum. The engraving reproduces the inscriptions on the monument, including a cartouche recording its erection at the expense of Simon Archer of Tamworth. Carries the engraved number 112 at top left corner. Probably from Sir William Dugdale's History of St. Paul's Cathedral, first published 1658, second edition 1716.
