John Cooke, Solicitor General
John Cooke, Solicitor General "from a rare print". Cooke (1608 1660) was a leading prosecutor of Charles I and hanged, drawn and quartered as a regicide in 1660. He holds open a book inscribed "Doctrina Libertinor et Quakeo... de Regno Millenn... / Pietas et Pauperto Simulat".
