T-shirt
This cotton T shirt was printed for the English Collective of Prostitutes. It shows their slogan: 'no bad women just bad laws'. The group was founded in 1982 and campaigns on a number of fronts. 'We campaign for human, legal, economic and civil rights for prostitute women, and for higher welfare benefits, student grants, housing and other resources, so that no woman is forced by poverty into the sex trade'. The collective gave this T shirt to the Museum when asked to choose something to donate that symbolised their work in London.
