T-shirt
This cotton t-shirt was worn by members of the Mad Mods and Englishmen Scooter Club that was set up in 1996 and had 32 members in 2000. The club wrote, 'The logo on the shirt is our club's colours, which we wear with pride when we attend scooter rallies both in the United Kingdom and abroad. We feel passionately about scooters and the impact they had on British youth culture during the 1960s. We aim to keep this mode of transport vibrant forever.'
The device on the back of the t-shirt is adapted from the City of London's arms, with the rose of England placed in the centre of the St George's cross.
