Club, beater
An Early Neolithic alder wood club or beater dating 3,530 to 3,340 BCE. This object has a small globular terminal at one end and then it expands along the length and the opposite end is rounded. It was recovered in several pieces. Radiocarbon dated to 3530-3340 BC.
This object may have been a weapon or a beater for processing flax, or potentially both a weapon and a tool.
