Notice
Double sided notice advertising the services of E.E. King's Fancy Valentine Shop. Printed on a sheet of paper with a silver and white lace paper border embossed with a flower decoration. One side of the notice informs customers of a mail order service available for those who cannot call at the valentine shop in person. It states 'Proprietors of Schools, Heads of Families, and Purchasers of Fancy Valentines, who cannot conveniently call and select from the Stock at the Shop, can have a parcel submitted for approval or selection by sending a Post Card to E.E. King's Fancy Valentine Shop, 304 Essex Road'. The reverse is printed with a general advertisement for King's valentines which are promoted as being 'funny, rummy, witty, pretty, tickling teasing and pleasing'.
