Card, valentine card
Comic valentine's card printed with a handcoloured caricature portrait of a man, woman and child before an open fire on which has been thrown a wooden leg. Entitled 'How's your poor feet', the card is printed with an eight line cruel verse entitled 'When this sight can come to pass, You may hope to win a lass, I mean when you continue to show A leg instead of timber toe, For a girl will never marry A Dot and then one to carry; And be insulted in the street With crys of 'How's your chaps' poor feet?'
