Card, valentine card
Handfinished, three dimensional valentine's card incorporated within an original cardboard box. The card comprises a sheet of silver and white lace paper attached to the base of the box by paper springs. Threaded through the lace paper is a light blue satin ribbon, applied to two corners are two blue satin bows holding in place a sprig of blue cotton flowers, the stems of paper covered wire. The sheet has an open central area which is framed by an applied wreath of green embossed paper leaves and lilac paper flowers. Through the open area can be seen a panel stuck to the base of the box, handpainted with a bunch of flowers. The box is of white card with a lace paper border applied to the inner sides.
