Card, valentine card

Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card stored within an original card box, without lid. The card comprises an uncoloured under sheet and a middle sheet by Mullord each solid embossed with a border design surrounding a central oval panel. Applied above these sheets, by means of paper springs or hinges is a silver and white lace paper border. This border frames an oval shaped cream satin pad applied to the central panel of the sheet below. Applied to the panel is an arrangement of green dried grasses, blue cotton flowers, a pink cotton rose and white cotton flower tied together with a cream satin bow. The inner sides of the card box have an applied border of cream lace paper.
