A Paragraph from "Love's Record"
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a top sheet of white lace paper heavily embossed with a design incorporating trees, a riverbank, a deer and a reclining male surrounding a central oval panel. Printed on the panel is a verse entitled 'A Paragraph from Love's Record' with the incomplete date 'February 14th 186 '. Applied below the panel is a floral garland of embossed and coloured paper leaves and flowers.
