To a dear Friend
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a silver and white lace paper border with an embossed roundel decoration surrounding a central panel of cream satin. Applied to the panel is a small coloured paper print of two cherub figures surrounded by fruit. Above this is applied a lyre formed from silver metal wire with strings of gold coloured springs. This decoration is surrounded by a wreath of embossed paper foliage, satin and cotton leaves with dried grasses. Below is an applied paper scroll marked 'To a dear Friend'.
