Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a plain under sheet of shaped paper with a top sheet attached above of gilded and white lace paper embossed with a shell, cherub and foliage design. The sheet has three open oval shaped areas. The top area is filled with an applied coloured paper image of a cherub in a cloud. The area below is filled with an embossed coloured paper wreath and floral bouquet. The bottom area is filled with an image of a young maiden rowing a scallop shell shaped boat. The card is also decorated with applied cream satin and frosted paper leaves .
