Card, valentine card
Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising an oval shaped panel of cream satin surrounded by a double frame of embossed paper by Windsor incorporating a design of cherubs, birds and flowers. The top frame is part gilded, the under layer is uncoloured. Applied to the centre of the satin panel is a gilded paper vase filled with embossed paper leaves and flowers. Applied to the top frame is a wreath of frosted pink cotton leaves and a roundel of gilded and silver lace paper representing a pendant decorated with blue, red and opaque beads.
