Card, valentine card

Handfinished valentine's card comprising a top sheet with a lace paper border embossed with floral design surrounding a central, plain area. Covering the centre is a panel of cotton net gauze with applied decoration of a fan formed from silk thread, embossed silver paper and gilded paper rings with a silver embossed paper handle. Surounding this panel is an applied white lace paper border with embossed flower design embellished with small garlands of embossed paper flowers and leaves and white feathers. Also applied is a paper 'cloth' printed with a four line love verse.
