Card, valentine card

Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising an under sheet with an uncoloured lace paper border surrounding a central embossed panel, part coloured with a blue zigzag design. Applied to the centre of the panel is a piece of paper printed with a garlanded drape marked 'I fondly truly love thee'. This is framed by an applied inner wreath of embossed green leaves and an outer wreath of embossed paper flowers. Attached over this sheet, by paper hinges or springs, is a pink, silver and white lace paper border. The card is also decorated with white cotton leaves and embossed, coloured paper scraps.
