Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card comprising a white lace paper top sheet, the bottom part embossed with an image of two lovers sitting in a field surrounded by lambs. The central roundel is surrounded by an embossed flower and foliage design and two reclining classical style figures. Applied to the central roundel is a handcoloured paper print of two cherub figures in a field with a caged heart and a flaming heart. Beneath the lace paper is a sheet of green paper intended to enhance the lace paper design.
