Card, valentine card
Comic valentine's card comprising a single sheet of card with the handwritten verse 'People cannot be expected to continue to burn with love and admiration with coals at the price they are.' Above is applied a paper plate with a handdrawn and coloured red heart and smoking pipe. This applied decoration flaps down to reveal an image of a man and woman sitting back to back on two chairs, the woman is reading ND the man is smoking a pipe. This image has been handdrawn AND handcoloured directly onto the card sheet.
