A light but loving gift

Handfinished Valentine's card comprising a silver and white lace paper border framing a central panel of cream brushed cotton. Applied to the panel a small oval shaped paper image of a floral bouquet surrounded by a wreath of blue embossed paper flowers and green embossed paper leaves and an outer border of silk thread. Also decorated with an applied paper cartouche printed 'A light but loving gift'. Applied to the top of the panel by a folded paper hinge is an arrangement of dried grasses, feathers, embossed paper leaves and flower garlands and pressed satin leaves.
