Playbill
Playbill of the Surrey Theatre, frin December 1832. The playbill advertises a benefit taking place at the theatre on Saturday December 8th, 1832 for the benefit 'of the sick and indigent of the Jewish persuasion'. The bill advertises an operatic drama called 'Fountainbleu', a romantic drama called 'Brigand' and a melodrama called 'Statue-Monk'. At this time the Surrey was managed by Osbaldiston, and Miss Vincent was one of the Surrey's actresses. The two would have a long-lasting affair despite Osbaldiston's marriage.
