Card, valentine card
Incomplete Valentine's card comprising two layers of identical white lace paper attached one on top of the other by folded paper springs to give a 3d effect. The sheets are embossed with a landscape design incorporating trees, foliage a bridge and a riverbank with swans and a cupid figure fishing. The central area of the bottom layer is filled with a cream satin panel handpainted with an arrangement of flowers. The central area of the top layer is open revealing the satin panel below.
