Card, valentine card
Valentine's card comprising two layers of white lace paper attached one on top of the other by folded paper springs to give a 3d effect. The under layer has an embossed design incorporating vases, flowers, pillars and drawn curtains surrounding a central cream satin panel handpainted with a floral bouquet. The top layer has an embossed design incorporating cupid figures in the four corners, flowers and drawn curtains framing an open panel through which can be seen the satin panel beneath. The card is incomplete as it does not have a back sheet.
