Card, valentine card
Incomplete Valentine's card comprising a single sheet of white lace paper elaborately embossed with a design incorporating flowers, reclining figures and foliage surrounding a central roundel. At the bottom is an embossed image of a pair of seated figures surrounded by animals. The central roundel comprises a sheet of white rice paper handpainted with an image of a bird on a branch of an apple tree. The card is incomplete as there is no back or inner sheet.
