Card, valentine card
Handfinished Valentine's card the front comprising two layers of identical lace paper attached by paper springs to give a 3D effect. The layers are uncoloured and incorporate an embossed design of flowers, foliage and cupid figures in each corner. The central area is framed by an embossed design representing curtains drawn back. The top layer has an open central area, the under layer has a central panel of cotton net gauze with applied decoration of an uncoloured, embossed paper cut out of two classical figures. The card also has applied decoration of embossed paper leaves painted silver, green and fabric flowers.
