Printed Ephemera — 1875-1889
With Sincere
Handfinished greetings card, possibly a mourning card, comprising a sheet of cream paper with a pink silk fringe, folded into three sections. Each section has double sided applied decoration comprising paper prints and verses surrounded by silver and white embossed lace paper borders. When closed the three sections fold into each other. The cover has a padded panel of black cotton velvet with the applied lettering 'With Sincere'. Decoration on the panels includes two sepia coloured illustrations of riverside settings and a printed verse entitled 'A Blessing'.
