Handfinished Valentine's card with a top sheet of cream, pink and blue lace paper with embossed design surrounding a central oval panel. Below the panel can be seen applied decoration on the inner sheet. This comprises a piece of white card with embossed outer border and blue satin ribbon inner border, on top of which is applied a piece of paper printed with a love poem surrounded by a gilded and white embossed and lace paper border. An applied paper flower bouquet partly obscures the love poem but this can be flapped down to reveal the bottom lines.
