What a Pretty Duck!
Handfinished Valentine's card comprising a sheet of lace paper, part gilded and lavishly embossed with a row of cupid figures linking hands flanked by two classical statues on plinths holding baskets of fruit above their heads. Through the open central panel can be seen decoration applied to the sheet below comprising a cut out paper colour illustration of two dogs surrounded by foliage and flowers. Printed below is the message 'What a pretty duck To my little duck'.
