Printed Ephemera — 1873
Programme.
Folded sheet of card printed with a dance programme for a ball to be held for the 'Ninth Surrey Rifle Volunteers' at the Masonic Hall, Greyhound Hotel, Richmond on 13th February 1873. Inside is printed a programme of dances with space for writing in by hand 'engagements' or dance partners. Some of these spaces have been filled, five with the initials 'CE.'
The card is decorated with a scalloped edge and embossed border. The front and back covers are coloured pink, the inside is white. The front cover is printed with the ball details. The back cover is printed with a list of the stewards names.
