Social History — 1851
Box, needle box
Small rectangular white cardboad needle box with lid bought at the Great Exhibition in 1851. It contains six black folded packets of needles with paper labels attached. Labels bear various decorations in gold colour and still contains a number of steel needles of different sizes.
