Emblems of love dear valentine

Handfinished Valentine's card comprising a sheet of white lace paper embossed with a wreath of flowers and leaves surrounding a central open panel. Applied above this wreath is a second wreath of embossed silver and white paper leaves and flowers. Below is a paper scrap printed 'Emblems of love dear valentine, I here transmit to thee, and hope ere long it's joys to prove in sweet reality'. Applied to the plain inner sheet is a gilded and white embossed paper image of two lovers on horseback framed by an oval wreath of embossed white and green leaves. When the card is closed this central motif is seen through the central open panel.
