Card, valentine card
Handfinished Valentine's card comprising a pink and silver lace paper sheet elaborately embossed with two figures surrounded by a leaf design. The card also has an integral plain oval panel, this previously has applied decoration probably of a glass mirror but this is now missing. The card is also decorated with an applied garland of embossed and coloured paper leaves, flowers and berries and a paper scrap printed 'Take a peep and you will see one that the world holds dear to me'.
