A Tribute for my best Beloved
Handfinished, side opening, Valentine's card comprising a sheet of white lace paper elaborately embossed with a scene including figures, buildings, trees, a boat and sheep. The card has three open areas including a central roundel which have silver backing paper. Applied to the central roundel is an embossed white paper cupid flying on the back of a dove, a letter in his hand. This roundel is framed by a gilded lace paper wreath and a garland of embossed paper flowers and leaves. Below is a paper scrap printed 'A Tribute for my best beloved'.
