Printed Ephemera — 1841-1859
To my Little Favourite
Handfinished Valentine's card comprising a sheet of yellow lace paper, cameo embossed with images of a church, birds and flowers. The sheet has two open panel one open revealing a motif applied to the inner sheet below and one filled with an applied roundel. Applied under the left hand open panel is a white paper roundel with silver embossed flower frame printed 'To my Little Favourite'. The right hand circular panel has an applied roundel of rice paper with handpainted flower decoration and the word 'Love'.
