Card, valentine card

Boxed valentine's card comprising a tiered cardboard base covered in watered and textured cream paper. A central panel in the box opens as a lid to reveal applied decoration below. This decoration comprises a layered and handfinished valentine's card with a silver and white lace paper border embossed with flower design surrounding a central panel of cream satin. Applied to the satin panel is a floral bouquet formed from wool leaves and coloured cotton flowers. Applied above by means of folded paper springs is a silver and white lace paper border decorated with an applied inner border of yellow paper flowers and embossed green paper leaves.
