Card, valentine card
Boxed valentine's card, stored within a purpose built box with lace paper decoration applied to the inner sides. The top sheet is formed from tiered card covered in green silk textured with a leaf pattern. Around the edge is a pink silk fringe. In the centre of the card is applied a glazed paper panel printed with a colour illustration of a riverside cottage surrounded by an embossed flower decoration, the roses covered in pink silk. This panel is also bordered by a pink silk fringe. Stuck inside and on the back of the card are three full size paper sheets. One printed with a verse entitled 'Perfect Love', the opposite printed with a full paper illustration of a young woman leaning over a sundial and, on the back sheet, is printed an eight line verse.
