Ticket, admission ticket
A ticket of admission and invitation to a dinner held at the Guildhall on 9 November 1850. The ticket is printed on pink card with an elaborately engraved border which incorporates symbols, shields and crests associated with the City, including the crest of the Guildhall. It is noted that there will be 'no admittance to the hall before 1/2 past 3 nor after 6 o'clock.
