Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card of white lace paper with embossed vine, leaf and bird decoration surrounding central panel. Applied to the panel a cut out paper pie on a paper plate handcoloured with a willow pattern. Above is handwritten 'A Pigeon Pie just large enough for two. And when the pie is open'd the birds begin to sing'. The top of the pie flaps up to reveal two applied paper pigeons and words to complete the verse 'I love you'. Also decorated with an embossed paper floral scrap bouquet.
