A Sweeping Advertisement
Handfinished valentine's card of cream lace paper with embossed and lace paper design of flowers and lace curtains framing a plain panel. Handwritten on the panel are the following words 'A sweeping Advertisement A partner wanted oh look with pity on my hapless doom to be compell'd to thus hang out the broom'. Applied to the panel a broom formed from shredded paper with a raffia handle. Also decorated with an applied garland of embossed paper flowers and leaves. Inside the card is applied a second similar broom.
